“Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.”
This time of the year always gets me. Songs like “Were you there” and movies like “The Passion of Christ”, leave me weeping alone in my room. Not only because of the grave injustice done against my Lord but also because of the sacrifice made on my behalf. Words cannot express the gratitude that is in my heart. My spirit is so full because God sent a savior, a deliverer, to save my sin sick soul. Jesus is His Name, the only begotten Son of God, who bore the sins of the world on that cross. He laid down his life for us. Of whom he called friends; that we may share in the inheritance as sons of God. His wounds, a result of our transgressions, the bruises because of our iniquities but through His stripes we are healed. We were reconciled back to God the Father. Redeemed and set free. Through Him we have access to our God, whose love is unconditional whose grace is always sufficient. Glory to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! The lamb without spot or blemish that was slain for the sins of the world but in the end overcame it. Rejoice and be glad because he had power to lay down his life and pick it up again. He is not dead, He is yet alive.
This is the Passion and its Real.
